VikingPal is built by OakDev & AI AB, a small software company based in Uddevalla, Sweden. We are a team of developers and designers with a genuine passion for Norse mythology, history, and bringing the wisdom of the old gods into modern life.
What began as a Norse guidance app has grown into a full Asa tro companion — nine god sanctums, fifteen reflection doors, a rune economy, and a cinematic Ragnarök theme — built with care for the wanderers who return to it every day.

Yes. The Wanderer path is free and includes 15 starter runes, the full Hall of Gods, all fifteen reflection doors, your ritual journal, and hall lore. The app is ad-supported until you unlock Hrafnlaus or Ragnarök.
A rune is the currency of the hall. Each time you consult a god or open a reflection door, one rune is spent. You start with 15 free runes and can buy more any time — or claim 300 runes with the Ragnarök purchase.
Odin, Thor, Loki, Freya, Tyr, Frigg, Balder, Heimdall, and Njord. Each speaks in their own voice — oracular, thundering, mischievous, amber-warm, iron-honest, calm, light-clear, watchful, or tidal. Enter the sanctum of the one whose wisdom fits your question.
Hrafnlaus is a one-time purchase that permanently removes every ad from the app. Ragnarök includes everything in Hrafnlaus — ad-free forever — plus 300 runes added to your vault and the cinematic Ragnarök theme. Both are one-time purchases with no subscription.

No. VikingPal does not sell subscriptions. You can wander for free with ads, unlock Hrafnlaus or Ragnarök once to remove ads (and claim runes with Ragnarök), or buy rune top-ups whenever you need more.
